These are our starting hourly rates. Most local and short-distance moves are charged by the hour with a 2-hour minimum. Larger and long-distance moves are usually quoted as a fixed price so you know the cost upfront.

What affects your removal cost?
Property size
More rooms and belongings mean more time and a larger van.
Distance
Local moves are usually hourly; long-distance moves are typically fixed price.
Volume
The number of boxes, furniture pieces and large items affects loading time.
Dismantling
Beds, wardrobes and flat-pack furniture take extra time if they need taking apart.
Access
Stairs, lifts, parking restrictions and long walks from door to van add time.

DIY packing saves money; full packing service adds cost but saves time.

Are there hidden charges?
No. Your quote will clearly state what is included. Long-distance moves are fixed, and local hourly bookings only extend if the move takes longer than expected.
Do I pay extra for fuel?
Fuel is included in local moves within the quoted area. Long-distance moves are priced with fuel included in the fixed quote.
Can I reduce costs by packing myself?
Yes. Packing yourself is the easiest way to reduce cost. We can still supply materials if needed.
